Curling

Curling is both a form of recreation and a sport, dating back to 16th Century Scotland. This sport, similar to lawn bowling, is played on a long and narrow strip of ice (42 m by 4.3 m) by two teams of four players. The players slide round stones, which are concave on the bottom and have handles on the top toward a tee, which is a fixed mark in the centre of a circle at the end of the ice strip. MORE! [BM] {NR}
