Cross Country Skiing
Cross-country skiing is done with two thin runners
(skis) strapped to
special boots so that it is possible to propell oneself over natural terrain
including
uphill, downhill,
and on flat land. Individuals compete to determine the fastest skier. This
is an Olympic event. MORE!
