The sport of caving, or spelunking, involves the exploration of natural underground caves. Crawling, wading, rock and ice climbing are important aspects of this sport. As the challenge increases, helmets, headlamps, climbing equipment, and camping gear become necessary. Spelunkers seek to challenge their own abilities, and do not compete against each other. MORE!
