Both the Christian faith and the Islamic faith carry on this Jewish belief in one personal, loving god of the universe. In contemporary Judaism the centre of their religious lives still revolve around Jerusalem and its temple. There are three main sects within Judaism. They are: Orthodox, Conservative and Reformed.
