Judaism is the religion and culture of the Jewish people. The Jewish tradition began in the second millennium BC in the land of Israel. Judaism began through a covenant (a mutual promise) between Yahweh and Abraham. Yahweh is God, the father of creation, Abraham is the father of the great nation Israel.
