Conservative Judaism
Conservative Judaism arose some time after Reform Judaism in the middle of the 1800s.
Like Orthodox Judaism, Conservative Jews believe in the authority of both the Torah and Talmud given as a divine
revelation from God.
Unlike Orthodox Jews, however, they believe that the holy scriptures must be interpreted in light of contemporary
culture and knowledge.
Conservative Jews follow many of the traditional practises and rituals of the ancient Jewish tradition.
