Samsara deals with the transmigration of the soul. Hindus believe that the soul is trapped in a cycle of rebirth until there is spiritual self-realization. This point of self-realization where the soul is finally liberated from the spiral cycle is called mok sha. The liberation of the soul is tied in with the karma, the law whereby acts produce future good or bad results. This ornate Hindu temple is in Sri Lanka. [BM] {ED}
