K'ung-fu-tze believed that his philosophies could create a wise and contented living state.
He always pursued the best for all people and believed that: "To see what is right and not to do it, that is
cowardice." In his final years of life he spent a great amount of time writing books and meeting with scholars to
ensure that his ideas might be carried on all over China.
