Luther was to be driven out of the Church of Rome as he established churches in northern Germany. German and Scandinavian immigrants flocking to Pennsylvania brought their faith and established the Lutheran Church in the United States. Some time later Lutheran Churches were also established in the upper Midwest. This Lutheran Church is in Finland. [BM] {VA}
