Around 30AD the Romans who ruled Judea (now called Palestine/the place where Jesus lived) crucified Jesus Christ. Through faith Christians believe that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead three days after his crucifixion. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ all are forgiven of their sins if they believe. This mosaic of Christ being carried to the tomb after his crucifixion is found in Israel. [BM] {NR}
