When Jesus Christ was born he was proclaimed as the long awaited saviour of the Jewish people. Many received the ministry of Jesus Christ warmly. Yet there were those who viewed his ministry with contempt. To Christians the ministry of Jesus Christ is primarily about healing that which is broken, and inviting all to repent of their sins and believe so that they might be ready for the approaching Kingdom of God.
