Different Denominations

There are many different denominations within Christianity. The three major denominations, Roman Catholic, Protestant and Eastern Orthodox, view the Bible as the word of God. The Bible acts as a guide for Christians, offering those who believe in Christ a path to follow and a foundation to base their lives upon. Within the caves of Qumran, on the coast of the Dead Sea, ancient scrolls dating from 100BC to 135AD were found. These scrolls contained many texts from the Old Testament, hymns and psalms. [BM] {NR}
