Roman Mythology 3
Roman
gods differed greatly from Greek gods as there was no godly marriage
or offspring. These gods were believed to be abstract powers rather then anthropomorphic deities. The
purity of the Roman religion, rich with liturgy and an established priesthood was soon to be
influenced by other cultures as Rome expanded. This Roman sculpture of Apollo was created in the
2nd century AD. MORE!
