Enlil
Enlil was one of the chief gods of Babylonia. He was
in charge of the heavens and the earth, and
also was involved in the creation of storms. Enlil was the god who created the flood from
which
Ut-Naphishtim
and his wife escaped by building an arc. After the flood, Enlil made Ut-Naphishtim a god.
