Egyptian Gods
The typical Egyptian representation of a local god would include both animal and human characteristics.
Often having the body of a human and the head of an animal.
The gods that these people created are a mirror of themselves.
The gods were peaceful, not bloodthirsty.
As Egypt became more united, under the ruling of a Pharaoh, so too the Egyptian gods were ordered and classified.
The Pharaoh himself was to be viewed as a god and have a divine character.
