Sorry, No Picture Yet! In 376AD the Huns invaded Russia. Attila the Hun became the ruler of the Huns in 433AD. The Romans originally convinced Attila to attack their enemies, the invading Barbarians, but Attila had his own ideas for Europe. In 451AD Attila invaded Gaul but was defeated at the battle of Chalons only by a unified Barbarian and Roman force that had come together to face the common threat of the Huns. In 452AD the Huns turned and invaded Italy but they were apparently bought off by Pope Leo I. Attila the Hun died in 453AD and the Huns slowly disbanded, leaving Europe in 470AD to settle in the country of Hungary. RB NR CO
