In 1986 the island of Aruba seceded from its federation with the Netherland Antilles. Today the Netherland Antilles is composed of 5 islands. The 2 islands found in the southern group are Curacao & Bonaire; the 3 islands found in the northern group of islands are St. Eustatius, Saba & St. Maarten. [BM] {EB}
