Modern Eritrea
By the end of WWII
in 1945 the British had conqued the territory of Eritrea.
Bristish control of Eritrea was
short lived as the United Nations federated Eritrea
and Ethiopia in 1952. Ten years later
Eritrea became a province of Ethiopia.
