Criminal Law
Criminal law involves all offences that incurred on the entire community. This
differs from Civil law because Civil law only deals with crimes incurred between
parties. In
simpler terms, Civil law is private law, whereas Criminal law is public
law. Punishments for
criminal offences include fines, imprisonment, and (in many countries)
death. To be guilty
of a criminal act one must be proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
