Malay
Malay is the
official language of Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.
The populations in each of
these countries speak a different dialect of Malay.
The dialects are as follows: "Bahasa
Indonesia", "Bahasa Malaysia", and "Bahasa Melayu".
The word "bahasa" simply means language
in Indonesian.
It is not uncommon for Indonesian children, such as these, to speak more than
one language.
