Democracy
1) Direct democracy refers to
majority rule which is directly affected by the will of all of the
people. The people have a
true voice in the action of government.
2) Representative democracy involves the people
exerting their power through elected
representatives. These representatives are responsible
to the electorate.
3) Constitutional democracy is often an extension of the representative
democracy wherein the
powers of the majority are curbed by a set of guidelines and rules
known as a constitution. This
makes sure that the representatives maintain the integrity and
ideals of the country.
