Canada has two Houses which create laws. The House of Commons members are elected and the members of the Senate are appointed by the Prime Minister (the leader of the Party which possesses the most seats in the House of Commons). This is a photograph of Chateau Laurier. Found in Ottawa, Ontario, this chateau was named for Wilfred Laurier, Prime Minister of Canada from 1896 to 1911. [JG] {WD} {PE}
