Enveloping the fertile valley of the Nile River, Egypt has sustained life for many thousands of years. There has been civilization in Egypt since 5000BC. In 3200BC the first of many pharoh dynasties was established by King Menes. The Persians wiped out the last of the dynasties in 341BC.
