No longer did people rely on hunting & subsistence farming. Some villages began to become bigger than others & different centres began to have economic, social & political ties. For the first time ever during this period animals were used for carrying & wind was harnessed for sails.(arrowheads) Soon these populated areas gave rise to cities, each city had its own unique cultures & crafts.
