Ancient Kazakhstan
During the 1st century AD tribes of Mongols & Turks settled in the area which is
now known as Kazakhstan.
By the 6th century AD these tribes would join together to form a
loose federation. Between the 7th & 9th centuries AD Islam
was established & the Mongols
ruled the region.
