Ancient Ireland

Ireland was a center for Celtic life. In the 5th century Christianity was introduced by St. Patrick. In the 9th and 10th centuries Viking invasions destroyed this peaceful nation. In 1014 the Irish monarchy was re-established to revive this broken domain.
