Galaxies
A galaxy is a collection of stars, clouds, gas and dust. These elements are scattered
throughout space in various shapes and sizes.
There are different types of galaxies; spiral, elliptical, irregular, and
peculiar.
All galaxies except the very closest ones are moving away from us.
Many clusters of galaxies are linked together in superclusters. In between the
superclusters are giant voids where no galaxies are found.
