What is Wind?

Sorry, No Picture! In the most basic terms, wind is air in motion. You can feel wind but you can't see it. What you can see are the effects of wind like blowing trees, and sand, and waves on the water. Wind is the result of changes in atmospheric pressure and temperature. Winds range from calm (less than 1 km/hr) to hurricane speeds (over 117 km/hr) and are generally measured on a Beaufort scale. [AM] {GC} {WW}
