What is Precipitation?
Precipitation refers to water that is found in the air as water vapour or as water
droplets that fall from the sky, whatever form they take.
Precipitation is part of the water cycle and responsible for many of the
weather phenomenon experienced on Earth.

hail, fog or and form of moisture that falls to the ground from a cloud.
Water is found in the air as water vapour or as water droplets and ice crystals in
clouds, depending on the temperature of the air.
