Around the earth there are vast areas that experience specific weather patterns because of the surrounding landscape. These are known as climatic zones. According to the Koeppen system, there are five zones found on Earth. Each is represented by one of the first 5 letters of the alphabet: A) Tropical; B) Dry; C) Warm; D) Cold; and E) Polar.
