Fingering
All woodwinds have tone holes, whose precise location is determined by tuning and acoustical factors.
Using the fingers, different combinations of holes are covered to produce different pitch, the breath causes the
vibrations, and by using the tongue to direct air and pressure, the tones of the pitch become articulated.
