Electric Guitar
In the area of electric stringed instruments, different forces are at work.
In any electric guitar or bass there is a device which sits on top of the body of the instrument, under the strings where
your hand would strum or pluck.
The device is called a pick-up, and it looks like a small bar of silver or sometimes gold.
Electricity is run to the pick-up which is composed of 6 small metal poles wrapped in copper wire.
