Late 80's

As the over-spending attitudes of the previous generation slowly began to take a piece out of society, and a small black day (recession) in 1982 would set up the parameters by which the next decade was based. At the end of the 80's there was much music being created with keyboards and other electric pop, there was heavy metal, ska (like reggae) and country was making a rise. On Yonge Street in Toronto several major record stores compete for business. [AW] {NR}
