Wolfgang had mentally composed the Harpsichord part as he scored the violin part; he had not written it down! He was recorded to have exclaimed "May it please your Majesty, there was not a single note lost." At last at 36, he caught typhus fever, suffered for a time, and died. It is sad to remember that this brilliant genius was, at the end, so poor that he was buried in the pauper's grave of the cemetery. [AW] {JO}
