Non-Fiction writing can be done in many of the forms of literature including those most often used in writing Fiction. [AM] {CL}
Non-Fiction is writing that is based on actual people and actual events. Non-Fiction authors attempt not to include their own thoughts, comments, or distort the facts. Non-Fiction writings usually involve plenty of research using primary and secondary sources as well as eyewitness accounts. The Executioner's Son by Norman Mailer, In Cold Blood by Truman Capote or Hiroshima by John Hersey are all notable examples of this genre. [RA] {EB}
