Biography

A biography is the written account of another person's life. Biographies are non-fictional and perhaps once of the oldest forms of literary expressions. The authors of biographies use the resources of memory, other people, writings (journals, diary, etc.), and pictures. [RA] {EB}
A biography may take many forms (ie. video, play, etc.). Biographies often focus on only one part of a person's life. For example, the biography of a sports celebrity may focus on their life in professional sports. [AM] {CL}
