Ludovico Ariosto, an important Italian poet and playwright of the 16th Century, was born September 8, 1474. In 1500, his father died and Ludovico had to care for his nine younger brothers and sisters. In 1503 he became a courtier of the Cardinal. In 1513, he met Alessandra Benucci, who he married somewhere between 1528 and 1530. They had a son named Virginio. This Italian fountain sculpture can be found in Park D'Alassio, Riviera. MORE!
