South of Pompeii in Italy lies Paestum, home of three excellent examples of Greek Architecture over
an extended period.
The Basilica (background) was built around 550BC, the Temple of Ceres (not
shown) closer to 500BC, while the Temple of Neptune (foreground) arose later around 475BC.
